Start a Toy Library

Any individual or group interested in the value of play for children can start a toy library. No special qualifications or skills are required – just a good dose of enthusiasm, a few interested parents or carers, and some toys you are all willing to share.

WAATL has put together a manual to help you get your toy library up and running. This manual – which includes tips and advice in areas ranging from; finding a suitable venue, cataloguing, funding your library, insurance, to day-to-day operations and promotions – will help give your new toy library the best chance of success.
